A Happy and Prosperous New Year

Here's hoping that 2009 will be a good year for everything and everyone.

Three brave souls from the Coventry section ventured out on a frosty New year's day to meet other VOC people at the E. Midlands section gathering at The Britannia pub in Kegworth.  Dave Davies, Gloria and myself were the intrepid trio.  Gloria and myself went on the Rapide and Dave came on his VFR after his Rapide indicated that although it had enjoyed being kicked a lot it wasn't really interested in bursting into life and be ridden thank you!  After a cool ride we got a warm welcome and I think that most people there won something in the free raffle.  We got home without being attacked and eaten by polar bears.  Hope to see you all at Berkswell soon.

E. Mids organisers Andrew and Kim came out to see us off on our way home.  Gloria is hoping she can try the heated gloves  ... next time.
