Series 'A' and Sidecar rally moved venue this year to Caddington
Sports and Social club and joined the Herts and Beds camping
weekend. Present where a dozen interesting sidecars, nine series A's with the bonus of the (only) Rudge
Python engined HRD with a Cross rotary valve conversion. (Photographs
here.) This pre series A which was started for it's large band of admirers and had quite a
distinctive sound. COVOC boosted attendance with 5 members and 4 'A''s. Alan Underhill naturally won the best machine trophy for his beautifully
restored and well used Comet. Eddy was trusted with Chris's Comet as part of his re-education into British bike controls ready for the
rebirth of his 'B' Rapide jigsaw puzzle. Apart from the excellent venue and good
company of old friends, the weather was kind apart from a few showers as we came close to home. Another cracking ride
