AGM 2009

The AGM took place on Friday October 9th at Berkswell and it was quite a momentous occasion as Ian A was standing down after 25 years as section organiser.  I was elected as the new organiser and will do my best to serve the interests of the club but I can't promise to emulate Ian's record and do it for 25 years.
The minutes of the meeting are being prepared and I hope to be able to post them on this website when they are available.
With the formal business finished the evening continued with a buffet supper.  Thanks to everyone who brought along food.  A special iced cake had been made to commemorate Ian's 25 years of service.  George supplied the photograph of the cake, Ian and myself shaking hands across the cake and Ian about to cut the cake.
There was a raffle for club funds and John Benson also kindly donated some books that were sold for club funds.  Thank you John.
