Classic Clubs Show The stalwarts of the Coventry Section VOC have faithfully attended this show for the past few years and stood in pouring rain until it was time to float home. This year patience was rewarded by the weather being warm, sunny and perfect for looking at bikes and chatting with friends in the verdant grounds of Stanford Hall. This year the shelter that Bob and Val kindly transported to Stanford provided welcome protection from the sun rather than the wind and rain of previous years. We had a fine line up of ten Vincent machines and some of the more daring members actually rode their machines around the grass arena. Bob's "D" popped and banged a bit while waiting to go in the arena. Was this perhaps a little show of engine nerves in front of the awaiting audience? The combined skills of the section later found and corrected the problem. The plug gaps were a little on the wide side, easily fixed so that the "D" was soon restored to normal running. Eddy
