The Fleece -  Bretforton 2010

John Lycett sent in this report on his visit to the National Trust pub at Bretforton.

"It was a beautiful evening in the orchard of the old historic Fleece Inn.  ( If it was good enough for the soldiers in the civil war, it was good enough for us.)  Those gathered under a cloudless sky were Geoff P. on a proper Sunbeam, Paul E. on his spotless Vincent, Maurice T. on his very smart, custardized, Honda 400, "The Ancient Brit" on his great tall Honda thing, you know the one, looks as if it was designed by a committee, (good job he is a tall lad) John T. in his car and Judith and I in the Beeza.  We were accompanied by Hans and Marja, friends from the Netherlands who arrived looking somewhat shell shocked, they were following us in their own car and suffered as the Beeza is inclined to backfire violently when on the over run.  Quite a few dined and drank as we watched the various the old cars arrive. All in all grand evening out."
