A happy, healthy and prosperous New Year to everyone.

Here is bit of an update while we wait for the weather to improve.  The snow and icy roads has severely restricted motorised activity for a few weeks and the poor travelling conditions was the reason that the January Wednesday lunch meeting was cancelled.  An apology to anyone that didn't get an email telling them the lunch was cancelled, I have just found that for some reason my computer wasn't mailing to everyone on my Coventry Section mailing list.  (I'm not sure why this was but it looks like I need to get out a big stick and show the computer who is boss!)  If you didn't get the email about the cancelled lunch date you may not have received emails about updates for a while so it might be worth checking the website to see if there is anything you've missed, e.g. the provisional 2010 calendar, happenings, etc.
Val and Rob Smart are back home after a few months in Australia.  Rob took a few photographs of the Irving Vincent that was in one of the support races at the Phillip Island MotoGP meeting.  It did very well winning three out of three races.  I've posted four of the pictures below.  Thanks to Rob for taking the photographs and Val for emailing them to me.
On January 15^th and 22^nd we have our usual club nights at Berkswell. On Friday 29^th Tony Harris will be giving an illustrated talk on building his own "V" twin engine and if you have already bought your ticket from John Benson don't forget the section dinner is on Saturday 30^th at The Honiley Court Hotel.
